24iValue, is a unique application that is an Expert System that imitates a typical decision-making process that is conducted by an expert. In this case, by an expert in the field of finance, accounting or taxes (eg, auditor, accountant, tax expert).

The main component of this Expert System is an extensive 24iValue knowledge base, which containes the experience gained by the financial audit and tax experts. It is the database, combined with processes of expert thinking and expert algorithms of calculations. 24iValue allows the users to decide for themselves, in the way that would make it an expert in the field of accounting, auditing, tax, or a financial mathematics (indeed this knowledge is also required in accounting nowadays). 

24iValue Expert System supports accounting, auditing and consulting in specialized calculations such as:
=> Preparing of a cash flow statement using indirect method (in accordance with IFRS)
=> calculation of deferred tax asset and deferred tax liability
=> calculation of UK corporation tax
=> Performing a test for impairment of fixed assets and other non-current assets

The components of the expert system is a skeleton consisting of:
=> User interface - which enables asking questions, providing information and answering system, the system answers and explanations
=> Editor's knowledge base - which allows you to modify the knowledge contained in the system, thus enabling the development of
=> Inference mechanism - which is the main component of the expert system executing the process of reasoning in the course of solving the problem
=> Explanatory mechanism - one of the elements of the interface between the system and the user, which allows the user to answer why the system has given itself, and not any other answer, or why the system asked you a specific question
=> Knowledge Base - a declarative form of knowledge experts in the field written by the selected method of knowledge representation, the most common rules or framework
=> Database variables - which is the working memory holds some facts made during the dialogue with the user, this database allows you to play the way inference system and present it to the user with a mechanism for investigation.
=> The extraction of knowledge from experts generally deal with knowledge engineers. This is usually a long and tedious process, because the knowledge used by experts is an intuitive and practical, often difficult to verbalize.
