Economics is a social science that deals with how to allocate limited resources from nature between unlimited needs. This definition is known and remembered probably by most of us.

The word "economics" is derived from the Ancient Greek " oikos " meaning " house " and " nomos " - significant enough that the "law", " rule " . Originally, therefore, the term was used to determine the effective functioning of the rules of the household. In time, however, has expanded from a single farm in the whole country, and even to function in a global sense. And so today's economy can be divided into two main streams : microeconomics, which deals with the relations between households and businesses, and macroeconomics, focusing on the overall economy.

Economic studies - except that they are very fascinating - learn something very important: how to treat the resources properly ( and wisely ) to meet their needs.

Man in nature is entered in a hierarchy of needs (ot , even the one that systematized Maslow). And so on the one hand would satisfy them all, but on the other - this is not possible, because the possession (by him or not) capabilities are limited.

It can therefore be bold thesis that economics graduate will be able to manage in a rational way , bringing maximum benefits at minimum costs are incurred . It is this advantage , which give economic studies . Needs will always occur, while resources are becoming increasingly limited. The needs and capabilities meet while in one place, popularly called market.
