Publication date: 2014-03-31 22:43:46

Assume that the balance sheet date the number of days of unused leave employees in the unit amounted to a total of 500 days, and 100 days in the case of administrative employees and 400 days for production workers.

On the basis of payroll cost we can determine the average gross salary on the basis of the last quarter of the financial year. Let?s assume it is 5,000 for
administrative employees and 2,000 for production. Average share of social contributions expenses amounted to 15% of salary costs.

Assuming that the average month's 22 working days annual leave accrual will be 59,000 [(100 days x 5,000 + 400 days x 2,000) / 22 working days in the month].

We must also remember the 15% share of social contribution, which gives us an extra 8,850 accrual.

Thus, the total accrual should amount to 67,850.
