Valuation of financial instruments
See our new video on that subject at YouTube
"If you want to value forward, currency or commodity contracts or loans
or bonds, according to the amortised cost, or check the correctness of
your valuation, use iValue, module “Valuation of Financial Instruments
Select the correct calculation after you have entered the basic data.
Let us proceed to the valuation of a fixed-interest rate loan.
If you do not understand a field’s description, see the hint, which will also suggest the form in which a particular value should be entered.
If you do not know how to calculate interest, iValue will do it for you. You may overwrite it later.
If the number of flows is large and you already have a schedule, you may link it with the previously exported template and then import your data.
If the number of flows is not the default five, you may freely change their number using the add or remove period function.
And if you want to add up sub-values, instead of a traditional calculator, use the calculator embedded in iValue in which you can also enter negative values.
After all the data has been entered, the result of the calculation is shown on the screen as a recommendation – its interpretation depends on whether you have performed valuation or checked the valuation made previously.
You may export the result including the output data to two formats: PDF and EXCEL."
